Seating Charts with Assessment Options

I adapted my seating chart to include three general areas of assessment. I have a (4321) rubric I use for each different skill set. If a student is absent I just mark AB where the assessment should have been. This has helped me to be more organized and accurate. Having the charts made up in advance helps with sub plans as well.

I am a music teacher at our neighborhood's class. I started a year ago, and I am still learning how to be a better teacher. I never really hoped to become a teacher, in fact, it was the last thing that I dreamed of being. Life works in mysterious ways, I mean, just look at me right now. I am a music teacher, however, I do not regret it, in fact, I am even proud that I decided to become a music teacher.
